This picture is John Howardson playing his Gibson Les Paul guitar.   The background lights were bright and hot.   Take note of the long hair in those days.   ‘It used to be longer!’   Yikes!   This picture was taken at a local venue in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia then called ‘The Palace’.    The Palace hosted only the top bands in the area.   At times, John Howardson and bandmates were the opening act for famous international recording artists.
